CLIENT & PROJECT
[Kaiser Permanente] Kaiser Permanente Cloud Transformation
project overview
As the lead designer for the Kaiser Permanente campaign, I had the exciting opportunity to help illustrate a transformative moment in healthcare. Kaiser Permanente, a pioneer in the industry, was ready to leave behind outdated systems and embrace a new, unified cloud-based solution. The goal was to show how Accenture, a leader in cloud transformations, could simplify and enhance their operations, ultimately improving care for patients and making life easier for their healthcare teams.
This campaign wasn't just about showcasing technology; it was about telling a story of partnership and progress. We aimed to blend Kaiser Permanente's core values with Accenture's innovative spirit, creating a narrative that resonated with their vision for the future. It was a chance to demonstrate how this collaboration would not only improve operational efficiency but also enrich the lives of everyone involved—patients, providers, and partners alike.
Design Process
Client Meeting and Mural Session: The process kicked off with an engaging mural meeting with the clients, where we gathered insights and discussed their vision. This initial interaction set the stage for understanding their needs and aspirations.
Creative Team Collaboration: Following the client meeting, the creative team convened to discuss key takeaways and brainstorm ideas. This collaborative effort was crucial in shaping our approach and ensuring alignment with the client's objectives.
Mood Boards and Style Frames: We created mood boards and style frames to explore different visual directions. After reviewing the concepts, my design was selected as the foundation for the project, leading us to develop a cohesive creative style guide.
Tactical Planning for Orals Presentation: Next, we focused on the tactics needed for the orals presentation. We discussed various strategies and produced materials such as emails, “Meet the Team” PowerPoints, a sizzle video, and subtle animations for screens to enhance our presentation.
Feedback and Iteration: After presenting our tactics, we gathered feedback from the clients. This input was invaluable, guiding us in refining the assets to meet their expectations and further align with their brand goals.
Production of Final Assets: With a clear direction in place, we moved into production for the requested assets. This included finalizing the presentation materials and ensuring everything was polished and ready for delivery.

Results and reflection
Leading the design for the Kaiser Permanente project was a rewarding experience. The collaboration with the creative team brought out the best in each of us, resulting in a campaign that effectively highlighted the strength of our partnership with Accenture. The seamless blend of Kaiser Permanente’s brand with Accenture’s identity showcased our dedication to supporting the client on their journey to transformation.
What stood out the most was the positive feedback we received during the presentation. It reinforced the importance of listening to our clients and understanding their needs. The creative process helped sharpen my skills in aligning design with business goals, ensuring that every element was not just visually appealing but also strategically impactful. Overall, this project emphasized the power of teamwork and thoughtful design in achieving a shared vision.
